For those of you who don’t know me from my former blog Art, Books, & Coffee, let me give you a little background on the crazy that is my world. I am a graphic designer/artist, author, avid reader, and coffee addict. The statement “add coffee for instant human” was invented for me. Trust me…you don’t want to know me without coffee in my system.

Nothing makes sense before coffee

Once I am highly caffeinated, you will find me at my desk typing away, drawing, or having fun with Photoshop. Throw in there some quality time with my resident crazy pup Lizzy and you pretty much have my day. Then at night, I spend countless hours with a lot of different people in bed. Get your mind out of the gutter…I am talking my countless nights with my nose in a book. Though I do like to stop reading for a few guilty pleasure TV shows  such as UnReal, Animal Kingdom, Vanderpump Rules, The Real Housewives of NYC, NCIS, Pretty Little Liars, and Supergirl.

So this is me in a nutshell. I hope that as I start to share with you all my crazy, hopefully interesting, and random thoughts from my highly caffeinated mind, you join in the conversation and let me know what you think too. We are all on this crazy train together.

Being a fan of both cozy mysteries and historical fiction, this book checked off all the boxes for a perfect read for me. From page one, I was instantly draw into Kat’s world and all the pomp and circumstance of Victorian England. There is something so great about an author who can take a historic setting and through a well crafted story, make it seem modern and fresh.

Cultivating a Creative Culture

The book centers around the premise that when dealing with employees having a human first attitude is key, especially creatives.
